LSOEC believes that conserving the environment is critical and supports the Access Fund. Founded in 1990, the Access Fund supports and represents over 2.3 million climbers nationwide in all forms of climbing: rock, ice, mountaineering, and bouldering. LSOEC is an Accredited Vendor of the the Professional Ropes Course Association (PRCA), and shares its commitment to safety, and support for the development and regulation of ropes courses, climbing walls, and zip lines. At LSOEC, the PRCA process ensures and validates that our installation, training, inspection, and other services comply with the PRCA Standard.

The American Mountain Guide’s Association (AMGA) is the premier source for training, certification, and services for professional mountain guides and climbing instructors in the United States.

LSOEC staff Rich Petteruti and Tai Grosjean are AMGA-certified Single Pitch Instructors. Tai Grosjean is also an AMGA-certified Climbing Wall Instructor.
